The Council of Europe Garden

The Council of Europe Garden is a small public garden in Floriana, laid out along the approach to Valletta. It was named to mark Malta's long association with the Council of Europe, which the island joined in 1965.

Shaded by trees and dotted with benches, the garden offers a quiet green space a short walk from the bastions and the busy Floriana thoroughfares. It makes a pleasant pause for visitors walking between the Valletta gates and Floriana's churches and monuments.
